THINGS TO THINK ABOUT...

- The best place to install your system is on a southern exposure roof, for optimal performance.

- We recommend avoiding any modifications to the system.

- Having clear sun exposure for the panel will increase performance. Try to avoid objects, trees, etc.

- Placing the panel in an easily accessible area will make maintenance tasks (such as cleaning) much easier.

- Think ahead. Make sure to place the panel in a way that you could add additional panels in the future.

- Most energy loss occurs in the windows. Placing the fan near these areas will decrease the furnace use.

- For better performance, set the solar thermostat 4 degrees higher than the furnace thermostat.

OUTSIDE DIRECTIONS

1)follow the slid show above and connect the lower panel ( the panel with the side inlet/outlet) to the upper panel (the panel without the side inlet/outlet) Slide one washer on each stud coming from the panel then place one turn buckle on each side of the panel and 2 in the back ,placing one washer and one nut on each stud total 8 per set.

2)Connect the stud to the mounting bracket, placing one washer and one nut on the stud

3) On the roof of the building, mark the general area where you would like to install the panel.

4) Take special precautions. Make sure:

- No electric wire or pipes are in the marked area from inside and outside

- No water pipes are in the marked area from inside and outside

- There is a power outlet available within in the area fan location

- The locations of all joists (wall studs) are clearly marked

5) mark the locations of the two 61/4'' inch inlet and outlet holes, and the eight screws for the mounting brackets (four on each side). Pay special attention to all marking making sure to mark the appropriate points.

6) Mark the location of the outlet and inlet inside of the building .

7) Drill the 61/4'' inch holes for the inlet and outlet ports.

8) Drill the holes for the mounting brackets 1' inch away from the marked location (if applicable) .

9) Screw in place the 4/8 mounting brackets to the roof /mounting system .
